3. Technical love-letter

A technical love-letter competition was held during Techniche- the technical festival at IIT Guwahati. I took part in the competition and my entry was adjudged the best in the technical love letter category. While browsing through documents, I was lucky to find the entry. As it is quite humorous, I included it in the school magazine. To all the science freaks, please do not look too deep for accuracy. You may be disappointed.

Dear curvoid,

Since last few days my heart has been in the state of unstable equilibrium. It happened when the parallel rays from infinity, reflected from the circle of your eyebrows, ellipse of your lips and general curves of rest of your being were converged on my retina by eye lenses. Light, due to its dual nature has photons, which were conserved only after displacing the center of gravity of my heart.

The longitudinal sound waves emanating from your vocal chords traveling in air at 330 meters per sec (correct with 10 percent error) have created standing wave pattern, which have been resonating without damping in the region between my left and right auricle and ventricle of my heart. The third degree differential equation describing the wave pattern has been solved by me and has been given appropriate physical meaning. The pitch, the loudness, and the waveform describe the solution and are most accurate when there is a fresh input of vibrational disturbances created by you.

The law of conservation of energy states that minimum energy and minimum potential energy exists when you are near me. Because of this fact, I acquire velocity to come near you when you are far from me.

Dear, could you meet me in chemistry lab tomorrow to work out chemistry between us?

Yours always,

Hyperoid
